In every major domain – economics, geopolitics, tech, climate – global trends that we’ve taken as given for decades are suddenly under debate. Is the world economy still globalizing? Is democracy backsliding at home and abroad? Who will win the race over emerging technologies like artificial intelligence? Will countries step up to address climate change in time to avert the worst scenarios? This course will provide the practical insights and frameworks to help senior executives prepare for – and succeed in – a new era of competition amidst global crises.

Meet the Faculty

Tarek Ghani is an Assistant Professor of Strategy at Washington University’s Olin Business School, Nonresident Fellow of the Brookings Institution’s Global Economy and Development Program, and former Chief Economist of the International Crisis Group. He holds a Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley and a B.S. from Stanford University
