Aluminum Shipments Continue to Fall Sharply

MSCI Metal Activity for the month of April 2023 shows that recent trends continue.
U.S. Service Center Activity
U.S. service center steel shipments in April, 2023 increased by 0.3% from April, 2022. Shipments of aluminum products decreased by 12.1% from the same month in 2022.
Canadian Service Center Activity
Canadian service center steel shipments in April, 2023 increased by 1.6% from April 2022. Shipments of aluminum products decreased by 3.6% from the same month in 2022.
